Hong Kong charity breeding Labrador with golden retriever to boost guide dog supply

A Hong Kong charity is breeding Labradors with golden retrievers to increase the supply of guide dogs for the blind. Jasmine Tang Yau-sheung, head of operations at Hong Kong Seeing Eye Dog Services, noted that the demand for guide dogs far exceeds the current supply, with only 10% of applicants ready for immediate pairing.
